About Tobias Revell
Tobias Revell is Design Futures Lead at Arup Foresight, working on the development of futures capability within Arup, supporting the management of the Foresight team, helping deliver Foresight strategic themes, and working with clients to map future uncertainty and untangle complexity. He is part of the research and curatorial project 'Haunted Machines', a member of the technological research outfit Supra Systems Studio, and teaches at several design schools. In his practice, he lectures and exhibits internationally on design, technology, imagination, and speculation. Revell is completing a PhD examining design’s role in the social construction of AI at Goldsmiths, University of London. Previously, he held several leadership roles in design at the University of the Arts London and was the founding director of the design research studio Strange Telemetry.
