About Jürgen Schneider
In 2020, Jürgen Schneider is Managing Director of gefma, the largest association for facility management in Germany with over 1,000 member companies.
After studying business administration at the University of Cologne, he worked in the telecommunications consulting division of KPMG Consulting and later moved to the Deutsche Telekom Group. As a member of the Human Resources Board, he was responsible for the Group's HR strategy before moving to the property sector (DeTeImmobilien) as a senior executive. There he was responsible for personnel management and organisation. He then supported the sale process to STRABAG AG and assumed regional responsibility for technical facility management at STRABAG Property and Facility Services GmbH, as well as for international mergers and acquisitions activities. He moved from responsibility for the area of digitalisation to the management of the industry association.
