About Jose Ignacio Velasco Martin
Joining MVRDV in 2008 Jose Ignacio currently leads several small to medium scale projects, while also lending strategic support to the office’s business development in Spain. He has lead the design and execution of the CUBE shopping mall in Shanghai – a project awarded the UNESCO Prix de Versailles , the new Sotheby's exhibition space in Honk Kong, the renovation of "Casa Camper" Hotel in Berlín and the mix used development "Project Gomila" in Palma de Mallorca among others.
He has also been integral to the competition teams of several successful MVRDV projects like The Future Towers in Pune, India, and the Boijmans Art Depot in Rotterdam.
