About Corinna Döpkens
"I'm really good at my work when I'm travelling somewhere around the world and only have a certain time slot per day to "work through"." Corinna Döpkens is a business travel & mobility expert, a PhD student at the Heisenberg Professorship for Work and Organisational Sociology (TU Dortmund University) and a freelance author in the area of future work and travel.
As part of her dissertation entitled “Bleisure Travel & Workation - new forms of temporal and spatial delimitation of work” at TU Dortmund University, she is analysing the topic from an academic perspective. When Corinna is not on the island of Rügen or in Hamburg, she works while travelling around the globe - preferably in her “2nd home” Cape Town.
