Whenever I enter a room, I want to feel captivated by its beauty and tranquillity. de Sede fulfils this wish with the Collina – as our furniture is unmistakeable in its identity. This is how we build sculptures that adapt to different lifestyles, are unique, modular, made with people in mind and eternally beautiful. Thanks to refined mechanics, the new DS-888 Collina is the pinnacle of flexible design. The modular seating design can be used anywhere and brings design, functionality and ergonomics to a level never reached before; as a single model or a landscape, it gives the room a special quality.
Patented flexibility
Collina makes a clear statement about a lively and dynamic lifestyle that transcends the rigid boundaries of traditional furniture; an aesthetically elegant invitation to redefine the boundaries between inside and outside spaces and between form and function. The highlight of the sculpture is the innovative backrests which can be flexibly moved in all directions thanks to a newly developed, patented function. Elegant elements, which are placed over the backrests, serve as headrests and, being comfortably adjustable in height, create a seating landscape reminiscent of the gentle foothills of the Swiss Alps.
