About Susanne Brandherm
Susanne Brandherm studied interior design at Detmold University of Applied Sciences. After holding various positions in interior design offices in Cologne, she founded brandherm + krumrey interior architecture in 1999 together with Sabine Krumrey, whose office she runs in Cologne. Susanne Brandherm was awarded the INsider Award 2013 and the German Interior Design Award 2019 by the Association of German Interior Architects (bdia) for her work.
In addition to her design work, she taught at Trier University of Applied Sciences from 2013 to 2015 and currently holds a teaching position at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, PBSA. She has been a member of the board of trustees of the architect@work Germany trade fair since 2012. In addition to various jury activities, lecture series and numerous publications, she has received prestigious awards for special achievements in interior design for her work. Susanne Brandherm has been an honorary member of the board of the Karl Bröcker Foundation 'Future for Children' since 2002.
