About Dr. Katharina Radermacher
Dr Katharina Radermacher is a researcher and lecturer at the Department of Human Resource Management at Paderborn University. She is particularly interested in gaining a better understanding of the world of work against the backdrop of the radical changes occurring today. Her research activities therefore focus on the topics of workplace design, flexible working methods and employer branding, as well as the interfaces between these areas. Long before the coronavirus pandemic, she was already focusing on the importance of workplace design. Through her research she aims to discover which working models ensure long-term employee satisfaction and keep organizations attractive and successful. Her expertise is based on a multi-perspective view of workplace design and flexible working methods in order to understand and more accurately predict how these factors affect employees and organizations. As a committed teacher, Katharina Radermacher shares this expertise with her students. She also uses workshops and lectures to help companies gain a better understanding of the methods of the new world of work and thus to design HR practices that keep pace with current developments while contributing to the achievement of the companies’ strategic goals.
