In the field of tension between new working environments, organisation and architecture
The New Ways of Working are on the rise and have become an integral part of today's office world. Ultimately, it was the pandemic, during which millions of employees were ‘transplanted’ to the home office virtually overnight, that showed everyone that it works! Today, the home office has long since established itself as the standard form of working, which means that most office buildings are now even more underutilised. As a consequence, companies and administrations are responding with future-orientated and space-efficient office concepts. The challenges lie in the corporate culture, the organisation, the technical infrastructure and the architectural and acoustic framework conditions. This presentation aims to highlight the tension between future-orientated office concepts, people and buildings.
