Community Day

The Community Day is all about transformation and innovation - terms that are often used in an inflationary way, but which also have a profound meaning in terms of circularity. We want to give them faces and make them tangible with space for listening, reflecting, exchanging and co-creating together.

Where do we stand in the transformation towards a more resource-efficient economy? How are we dealing with these change processes as a society and personally? What are we already achieving and where are we reaching our limits? A key issue here is how we can really involve younger generations and how companies can be supported in placing responsibility in new hands. We will find out how companies can successfully shape their own transformation from linear to circular and how knowledge can be secured and passed on in times of demographic change, even beyond the company itself.

We shed light on the prerequisites companies need to develop circular business models and which innovative methods support them on this path. Another focus is on innovative best practices in relation to the education sector. Where currently in public tenders for school furniture only new purchase and for existing furniture only disposal is common practice, we want to show concrete solutions for re-use and re-purposing and find ways for implementation as a prelude to a joint journey.
